Merge revision into several version

I usually merge changes from trunk into branches from within "show log".
As I often have to merge a change into several branches I have to repeat the merging several times.
Each merge lasts for quite a while as my working space / repository is fairly large.
What I do is: start several "show log" windows and mergings in parallel.
It would be very handy if I could merge a change to more than one branch / directory. Is this possible somehow?
If not is it possible to introduce something like this in a future version?
