SVN not asking for Authentication

Hi All,

I have configured SVN server in a debian box. When I try to checkout from a
windows machine through tortoiseSVN using my server's public IP address,
repositories are simply checking out without prompting for username and
password.

But, When I try to checkout using LAN IP in my internal network, I am
getting the authentication prompt. I am using svn://<IP Address/repos/ link
to checkout.

Someone please advice me where I am wrong and what I have to do to fix this.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Deepan.R
