Hi Felix,
I do not know how to check the permissions on the .svn folders on the server side. I re-did the test in the N drive where the problem occured, when I ADD the file Book2.xls to SVN, there is a file written in .svn/probs: Book2.xls.svn-work. Can I assume the permission is ok? I resent the error message in the following:

Command: Commit
Adding: N:\work\testmsfile\Book2.xls application/octet-stream
Sending content: N:\work\testmsfile\Book2.xls
Error: Commit succeeded, but other errors follow:
Error: Error bumping revisions post-commit (details follow):
Error: In directory 'N:\work\testmsfile'
Error: Error processing command 'committed' in 'N:\work\testmsfile'
Error: Can't move 'N:\work\testmsfile\.svn\props\Book2.xls.svn-work' to
Error: 'N:\work\testmsfile\.svn\prop-base\Book2.xls.svn-base': Access is denied.
Finished!:
