Diff for MS Word 2010 docx documents?

I have just installed TortoiseSVN on a PC with Windows XP and MS Office
2010. I can't get the function

[context menu] -> TortoiseSVN -> Diff with previous version

to work with .dotx documents created with Word 2010.

The problem seems to be related to creating the word.application object in
        "C:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN\Diff-Scripts\diff-docx.js"

I get an error from Windows Script Host
        "ActiveX component can't create object: 'word.Application'"

I have tried to change the security settings in "Internet Options ->
Security -> Custom level... -> ActiveX controls and plug-ins" to
"Enable" or "Prompt". This did not solve the problem.

Is this a known problem with Office 2010?
