While the idea is reasonable, I can't find a way to actually do this.
There seems to be no API to add paths to the exclude list. And adding
registry keys won't work properly either since those are dynamically
recreated (all of them!) when adding a path manually - most (sometimes
all) of the registry entries change their order.

Also, it's not possible to specify wildcards for the exclusion list.
