Create Patch bug

I right-click inside an Explorer window displaying a subversion working copy, go to TortoiseSVN menu, and choose Create Patch.
Tortoise searches for the files to patch and displays them.
If I close the Explorer window before clicking OK in the Tortoise Create Patch dialog, then when I do click OK in the Create Patch dialog, the dialog closes silently without creating a patch file or prompting me to save a patch file. That Explorer window has to remain open in order for the Create Patch dialog to do its job when I click OK in it.
