Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

Hi,
I am using tsvn v 1.6.11 Windows. I am trying to checkout the whole repository to a remote workarea which is mapped in my machine something like Y:\myworkarea\svn. When I try to checkout the contents it ways says
Can't move 'Y:\myworkarea\svn\.svn\tmp\entries' to 'Y:\myworkarea\svn\.svn\entries':
Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

Not sure how to resolve this error. Though the checkout to my local machine works.
There was same issue in the thread "http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=4061&dsMessageId=55198" which suggests to use 1.5.1 but I am using 1.6.11 and I assume that this issue has been resolved?
I would appreciate your help
