RE: Feature request: Trigger cleanup command after commit

I think I know what Noel means.
We always use local disks for our working copies, but we have a behaviour similar to Noel's: after a commit, the icon overlays don't update immediately. You have to wait for a while (sometimes even a few minutes) before the overlays get updated.
I know this slow update is by design (the update is carried on by a very low priority process), but I think forcing an immediate, high priority cache update after a commit would be a nice feature that will give users a better feedback.
Bye
