TortoiseSVN used to be fine, but now author is missing when I do commits

Hi,

To get out of a bad situation on WIN7 I decided to delete my account,
clear ALL my user setting, files and folders and recreate the account
with the same name from scratch.

Having done this I can do checkouts & commits using TortoiseSVN same a
before but when I do a "show log" on the repository the "Author" field
is now empty on all my commits.

I access the SVN repository remotly using https://

I've removed and reinstalled TortoiseSVN which did'nt fix it.

How does TortoiseSVN pick up the Author tag when doing commits and
what do I have to do to fix it?

Thanks, Steve.
