PayPal are scum. If I hadn't already closed my account in disgust at
their treatment of a friend (and many others before that) years ago,
I'd close it now.

It's a complete failure of the international banking system that we
even need services like PayPal.

It's a complete failure of all our governments that PayPal are allowed
to operate a bank without being regulated as a bank (e.g. not being
allowed to arbitrarily take your money).

PayPal is really just a MMORPG website where you can pay real money to
change a number on the screen and you *might* be able to turn that
number back into real money, if they feel like it at the time, but
there's no guarantee. :)

Hope you get your money back from them, and soon.
