RE: Loading and saving of svn:keywords is not working

At the risk of sounding ignorant (which I do quite well), I could have
sworn subversion properties are stored as meta data in the directory not
as separate files. When using the command line:

svn propedit xyzprop .

The command line will open up your editor and use the temporary file to
let you edit the property. TortoiseSVN embeds an editor for this
purpose. However, that temporary file isn't kept around after you've
saved it and closed the editor. Unless I'm missing something...

Could you translate the error message into English?

I have two issues here with TortoiseSVN

1. Saving of properties is not adding filename extension "svnprops"
automatically

List of filetypes is empty.

2. I saved properties and added fileextension myself.

When loading this file I get an error.

Loading of older svnprops-file is working. They have been created with
various, previous versions.

System info:

TortoiseSVN 1.6.10, Build 19898 - 32 Bit , 2010/07/16 15:46:08
Subversion 1.6.12,

OpenSSL 0.9.8o 01 Jun 2010
