That was a good tip! Having a working path file makes the whole thing easier. :)

The difference between TSVN's and my path file is the presence an Unicode Byte Order Mark (FF FE) at the beginning of my file. TSVN's path file does not include a BOM, mine does. Otherwise the files are now identically. Removing the BOM also makes TortoiseProc to accept my file.
