tortoiseproc checkout path modified

When I specify a path and url parameter, it appends the last directory
of the url to the path in the dialog. Is there a way to force the
command line parameters that I pass to not be modified by the dialog?

ex: tortoiseproc /command:checkout /path:c:\temp /url:http://svn/
MyRepository/branches/XYZ
This sets the path to: c:\temp\XYZ rather than c:\temp like I
requested.
