As it was the first creation of the repository for this sub-dir, it as been successful.
Nevertheless I imagine that the error come from the fact that the file has never been copied, this could happen if a file had been completely deleted, so the case could be hold not as this error but the detection a files management anomaly which would lead to a restore from the main as it occurs for the first "update" that's the sub-dir creation and populate.
In such case the way to hold the error could be an option, and the restore isn't the right way, various solution with a message, isn't ? or, may be, it is a rare case (which would generate too much work to hold it) ?
