Maybe a warning message would be useful but it's not really an error.
There are legitimate reasons to install the 32-bit version on a 64-bit
OS (usually in addition to the 64-bit version), since it enables the
context menus within 32-bit apps.

(Easy example to try, the File->Open dialog in 32-bit Notepad:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\notepad.exe )

(I suppose the 64-bit installer could offer both 32- and 64-bit
versions, though.)
