I had a similar issue with the context menu. Since I did not reading anything on the download page, as I think most people do for a simple update, I did not know to do a Repair. In my opinion, I think the Important Note should a little more noticeable, maybe highlighted in a different color, in a colored box, or completely bolded and moved before the download link.
Still not knowing that I had to Repair, I assumed there must have been an issue with the upgrade from 1.6.8 to 1.6.10, so I uninstalled TSVN. I reinstalled 1.6.10 and now my TSVN does not work at all. When I try to do an Update or a Checkout I get "Error Can't find a temporary directory". When I do a Commit I get a "Can't create directory, /data/svnrepos/..../db/transactions/####.txn: Read-only file system"
I googled for issues about the temporary directory. When I open a command line, there are valid environment variables for TMP and TEMP. The folder is writeable.
Does anyone else have this issue?
I have tried
All have the same end result.
