Re: Problems to checkout - so slow

Rafael,

we are running into a similar problem since we have made the latest
update of CollabNet's Subversion Command Line Client and TortoiseSVN.

Our setup:

Server-Side:
- Linux, latest stable release, only via https

Client-Side:
- CollabNetSubversion-client-1.6.12-1.win32.exe
  TortoiseSVN-1.6.10.19898-win32-svn-1.6.12.msi
- WinXP, MS Security Essentials -- painfully slow
- WinXP, Kaspersky -- painfully slow
- WinXP, no antivirus -- slow but not soooo painful
- Linux -- no problem

Before the latest update, we were running on client-side:
- CollabNetSubversion-client-1.6.9-1.win32.exe
- TortoiseSVN-1.6.8.19260-win32-svn-1.6.11.msi

Anyone any idea?

We consider falling back to previous versions -- any serious
recommendations not to?

Thanks for support.

Lukas
