Improving checkout performace

Hi all.

Does anyone knows how I could improve my checkout performace on
WinVista/WinXP?

I can checkout the repository using Win7 with no problem, but it's
impossible using WinVista/WinXP. It's so slow.

I'm using "keyword:rev" property and it's creating files to control
the property, and I guess this is the reason of slow performace,
because if I remove this property, everything works fine.

Does anyone else has the same situation? Is there something to do to
improve the performace? I already tried to disable the norton and
firewall. I tried with another svn client, and I have the same bad
performace. I open a new thread in svn maillist, but maybe someone
here could help me...
