Let me ask you the same question as Stefan Wild: What information
exactly do you gain from knowing the size of the change? *That* is IMHO
the problem here: The usefullness has only been stated but not supported
by a concrete example.
If you can give an example, you might convince more people than by just
stating the usefullness.
