any consideration of http+svn protocol?

I'd like to modify svnserve to run behind a shared port on a Windows WCF host. This is for supporting the Windows web hosts that don't support WebDAV but do support WCF port sharing. Sharing a port in this manner would be easier if I could use one of the protocols that are supported out of the box in WCF (aka, HTTP). Has there been any talk of supporting http+svn as a protocol from Tortoise SVN?
