That's strange. The auth dialog and the code is the very same for both
"diff with previous version" and the repobrowser. It's actually the same
everywhere.

Since the auth data is stored encrypted, could it be that your virus
scanner blocked the first attempt to write encrypted data to the disk?
<sarcasm>After all, only bad software has to encrypt stuff.</sarcasm>
