SSL ngotiation failed....

This is kicking my ass... I am simply trying to Repo Browse to a
repository 'https://nmdc-turtle-----' and get the error:

SSL negotiation failed: SSL error: sslv3 alert unsupported certificate
(https://nmdc-turtle-----)

The dashes are mine to obfuscate...sorry, but I have to! My personal
certs work for other apps - and I CAN browse this repo with Firefox!

Any insight on this??? Is the SVN server objecting? or the Windows
TortoiseSVN client or what ?!?!?
