merging 2different trees

Hi list,

I'm trying to merge 2 different trees using TortoiseSVN
1.6.8.19260-win32-svn-1.6.11 with a repository running
mod_dav_svn-1.6.11-0.1 but it is not working.

Never on the same file, sometimes on a GET, sometimes on a PROPFIND and
always finishing the error report with in the most of the machines
running windows xp:
could not connect to server (http://10.6.6.4)
Error reading spooled REPORT request response

It has worked on 2 different machines inside the LAN in through the
internet, running windows xp and windows 7 but I need it to work in all
machines inside my network.

Any ideas, known issues or things to try would be very appreciated.
