Tortoise svn is interferring with my email attachements

Whenever I try to add an attachment to an email, I get a notification that Tortiose SVN is trying to access the network and I am given the option to allow access or deny it. However, upon denying the program access I get the same message again, thus preventing me from getting any closer to the file I want to send. I deleted the whole Tortise SVN directory just so I could finish my work, but I want to use it again in the future, so how would I prevent it from interacting with my email programs? Or is there a way to have it only start up when I actually want to use it?

Oh, and I was using Novell Web Access to do the emails.

TL;DR: Tortoise SVN is trying to access the internet and/or my files when I try to attach a file to an email.
