Bug: all icon overlays MIA

Hi there,

After installing TortoiseSVN-1.6.8.19260-win32-svn-1.6.11.msi
<http://downloads.sourceforge.net/tortoisesvn/TortoiseSVN-1.6.8.19260-wi
n32-svn-1.6.11.msi?download> on my XP Pro SP3 machine I found that icon
overlays no longer appear to be shown.

Further investigation reveals the registry entries in the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Sh
ellIconOverlayIdentifiers have disappeared. An attempt at a naive fix
(adding a previous version's registry entries in) did not work (despite
restarting my machine).

I know of at least one other machine that this has affected. Can anyone
else confirm the problem or suggest what I might do to fix it?
