No more icons in repo broweser context menues ?

After upgrading to TotroiseSVn 1.6.8 on a WinXP machine, I found a
minor inconvenience: I noticed that the context menus in the
repo-browser don't show their icon anymore.
In other words, if you right click on a file or folder in repo-browser
you'll see the expected menu, but there will be no icon to the left of
each menu item (actually you will see a few coloured pixels to the left
of each menu item as if the icons were painted in the wrong position).

Reinstalling or repairing the installation doesn't solve the problem on
my PC.

Is there anything I ca do ?
