Not connecting to Apache

I am trying to set up a multi-user environment. I have Apache 2.2 running on one machine and the versioning seems to be working correctly. I can also get to the website to see the files on a browser from machine #2, but when I try to update files from machine #2 to machine #1 I get the following:
Error: OPTIONS of 'http://160.42.25.73/svn/Results_Web': Could not resolve hostname
Error: `http://160.42.25.73/svn/': The requested name is valid and was found in the
Error: database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for.
Error: (http://160.42.25.73)
When I click on the http://url from a browser the site comes up....what do I not have connected?
Thanks.
