I cleared both types of log messages in Settings -> saved data tab,
and log caching is turned off. I still get the same errors.

the error message with the "hash.c" text only comes up when I try to
view revision graph; viewing merged revisions seems to wait forever
with the progress bar at 100%. Also, when the "want to go offline"
dialog comes up, the "Getting info from repository" message shows it's
getting a revision somewhere between 1311 and 1531; my most recent
change is 2670. Not sure if this is significant.

Much thanks for looking into this, Stefan.
