Checkout to nonexisting dir fails silently

Hi!

TSVN 1.6.7 build 18415 on Windows XP 32 bit

If I select multiple items (folders) in repo browser, right click them
and select Checkout..., a Folder selection dialog appears.

If I enter there a path to a nonexisting folder, like:

C:\work\new_checkout

then after clicking OK nothing happens, the dialog just disappears.

If I create the new_checkout folder and right click again, then Checkout...,
type in the same path (C:\work\new_checkout), click OK, then it works.

The exact procedure is:
 - right click on an empty space in right pane of Windows Explorer in folder
C:\work
 - in the menu select SVN Checkout...
 - in the Checkout dialog click the "..." butoon next to URL
 - the rest as described above
