Unable to turn off icon overlays on Network Drive

Hi TSVN folks,
 
  We are performing some testing with TSVN 1.6.6 build 17493 and had
turned on icon overlays for Network Drivers (checked the box under Drive
Types for "Network Drives." Now I want to turn off that option. I
un-checked the box, changed Status Cache to "None" and even put the
mapped network drive in the "Exclude paths" box as j:\* . Even after
logging off and back on I still see the icons on the network drive.
 
I see a similar report here:

Note that we are running TSVN on a Citrix server so changes to the
registry is not a good option for us. Suggestions, anyone? Is this
changed in a more recent release? We need to allow the user to turn
this option on and off at will and have it actually take effect.
