TSVN only starts one additional thread for the update. I.e., during an
update there are two threads used by TSVN: one for the UI so it stays
responsive, and one for the update itself.

If you see more than one thread using all CPU, then I suspect a virus
scanner or firewall interfering here. Try disabling it.
