How to copy folders and files but not the SVN data files and folders

How do I copy folders with files without copying across the SVN
control data and folders?

Say I have a folder ' C:\ASR\Sphinx4'. that Tortoise is set up for.

If I copy the folder ' C:\ASR\Sphinx4' and its contents it also
copies the SVN info and this increases the size and quantity.

How can I do the copy but just copy the files as if Tortoise was never
set up in the first place?

I have looked around and I can not find any mention of this.
