From your answer (and the other postings in this thread) I conclude that some people are able to use tortoisesvn under Windows 7. However, on my machine it doesn't work at all, i.e., there are no tortoisesvn menu entries in the Windows explorer, although tortoisesvn appears in the list of installed programs. I have used tortoisesvn for a while under Windows XP without problems. Are there any special system settings which need to be applied in Windows 7 before installing and/or using tortoisesvn?

Thanks & kind regards,
Markus
