Reviews Management on non-text files

Hi,
I'm looking for Subversion (Windows
server, and TortoiseSVN client on Windows) and I've read some documentations.

However there is a point of
practical use which need clarification ....

In my sample
project directory, I have source text files but also other
files Word Excel ... (various documents) that I
also need to manage the reviews, but of course the "merger" is not possible ...

In practice:
1) Do I have
to "mark" these documents in the import of this project to tell SVNServer that they can't be merges, and how can I do that?
2) How do I Commit my modified project to SVNServer, without the automatic merge of these files ?
3) How can I view the 2 versions of this file in order to make a possible fusion
and synthesis that will inevitably
be manual(or no fusion at all, if it is an exe file) ... ?

Thanks In advance,
Sincerely.
