Symlink support would have to come from the APR libraries which
Subversion depends upon.

Do not be surprised when your issue is closed in the issue tracker;
looking at the SVN Developers list archives, it appears that
you did not follow protocol before opening a new issue (the big box at
the top of http://subversion.apache.org/issue-tracker.html).
