That shouldn't happen.
It's not clear from the screenshot, but make sure you don't have a space
before/after the ShowContextMenuIcons entry name.
(i.e., the key name must not have a space before/after it).

Just tried it on my own system. When I set the key value to 0, the icons
are gone. So it should work.
