I'm not sure what you mean. What I would do is to open the log window. There,
you can select two revisions (e.g. the one where it first occurred and a
month before that) and compare those two. If that doesn't show the
modification removing the code, move the window further back in time and/or
make it larger, until you find the modification. Then, split it in half to
further narrow down where the change took place. Repeat until you can nail it
onto a single revision.

All of this should be doable from the log window of TSVN. Note: If both time
and place (URL) of the change are unclear, you could also use "update to
revision" to rewind the time in a working copy and operate on a whole project
then.
