Authentication via WebDav

Sorry to post this as a new topic, but this is an update to my previous post, which I can neither edit nor reply to as it isn't yet approved.

By loading the standard SVN PC Client on to my PC, I realise that it is trying to access the Webdav server with the username "Owner", regardless of what I tell it (so going david_at_svn.domain.etc makes not a blind bit of difference).

Not sure what is going wrong here, but I have a usable workaround by setting a password for user "Owner" in my authentication file.

It would be nice to know how to set the username properly, though...

Client is Windows XP Home 2002 SP3. Server is Apache 2.2.6 on Fedora 6.
