TortoiseSVN 1.6.6 blocked on stale network connection

Hi,

TortoiseSVN 1.6 can be blocked when a update operation is broken suddenly by
a network disconnection or stale data transfer, especially in an unstable
Internet connection.

TortoiseSVN indicates that it can not pull data from the server any more.
Transfer speed is 0 bytes/s but the Update screen is blocked forever. Cancel
button does not response.

This behavior happened in most of previous versions.

Is it a bug?
