Hi ,
yes this what i want ! automatic copy of file before merging,our issue is with c** code,sometime a developer modify a checkout file then after merge he discovers that merge has benn done ' Incorrect' with respect to c++ syntax so he just compare this merged file with what he had modified and fix the error .
I hope i explained in detail and this developer uses CVS and it creats a copy automatically which the developer delets manually later ,so my issue is the craetion of this copy !
