SVNServe using ActiveDirectory on a Windows 2003 box

I've seen some discussion about the possibility of using SVNServe's
newer SASL capabilities in order to enable ActiveDirectory
authentication but I can't find any straight forward documentation to
suggest how this should be accomplished.

Below is a link to the a post I've made on serverfault.com regarding
this topic and would appreciate if anybody who follows this message
board to take a crack it if you have a chance. After a working method
is established it would be nice to see this documentation to the
official TortoiseSVN documentation and possible the Subversion
documentation as well.
