Solved.
I had to de-install, reboot, and then re-install, re-boot. This was not a one time thing, as I had to do this on both new Windows 7 machines that I installed this on..

Hi,
I am using Windows 7 (64 bit) and have downloaded tortoiseSvn (64 bit version). The install went ok, however, I can bring up the repo browser, I am prompted for user name and password (as expected) but then the repo browser hangs. I can get to this server from XP machines with this user id and password. (I have disabled the firewall on this machine as well - and still no luck).
Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
