I was planning on posting a request for this feature when I came across you posting.

I would find this useful for diff'ing two files because I typically want to diff files between two working copies (e.g. a branch and the trunk, or two branches). I end up navigating around a lot using the file select dialog, particularly when the working copies are deep directory trees. It would be much faster if I could have two instances of Windows Explorer open, along with TortoiseMerge, and just drag 'n drop the files from Windows Explorer into TortoiseSVN.
