Thanks for the clarification! However, as a new-ish SVN user I'm having the same problem as the original poster. However, in my case the question really should be phrased differently: 'HOW do I browse to repo root' and not 'WHY can I not' :-)

For historical reasons we've got a bunch of projects living under "http://bach:8080/svn", while the rest lives under "http://bach:8080/svn/Projects". When I open the former in Firefox, I can browse the projects under /svn just fine, but with the repo browser I can only get to /svn/Projects.

Since the web view works fine, my guess was that I'm missing some Tortoise-specific trick.

Will be grateful for any and all tips!
