Nope. "Stop on Copy" wasn't checked.

And since I didn't do any branching, it
isn't a branching issue either.

However, I believe the solution was because
I wasn't selecting the top most root.
Selecting the top most root did the trick.

Sorry for the false alarm. My bad.
