Hey Kurt - thanks for that great idea. I don't know why none of our
developers thought of that! It would have saved me tons of time! And
it results in a lot less mergeinfo!

I am happy to report that since following Bob's instructions I have
done several merges. A single change now takes about a minute. A
range with 13 diff revisons took about 5 minutes. Getting our
mergeinfo to elide correctly was a huge boost to our productivity!
