Overlay icons not showing after upgrading to TortoiseSVN 1.6.5

Hello everyone,

I recently upgraded TortoiseSVN to version 1.6.5 and now I can't get
any overlay icons to show.
Here is what I did:

1. I installed TortoiseSVN 1.6.5 without removing my old version
(1.4.8)
2. I then uninstalled TortoiseSVN
3. I deleted anything that had 'Tortoise' in it's name from the
registry
4. I installed TortoiseSVN 1.6.5. Everything works fine except that no
icons are showing.

I searched for the solution already and in the process tried the
following:

- removed the file: C:\Documents and Settings\Ana\Local Settings
\Application Data\IconCache.db
- installed Microsoft's TweakUI utility and used it to rebuild the
icons
- I run TortoiseProc.exe /command:rebuildiconcache from the command
prompt
- Switched the Status cache option in the Settings to 'none' and then
back to 'default'

Obviously, none of this worked :(

Some additional info:
- I am running WIndows XP-64bit
- I also use Carbonite backup service. They also use overlay icons to
mark the status of the files - those work without any problem !

Any help would be much appreciated !

Thank you,
Ana
