SVN update/checkout issue

Hi,

I am just wondering if someone can shed some light on the following
problem with TSVN please?

Yesterday I tried doing a SVN update, and for some (forgotten) reasons
I decided to cancel the update process. After that, however, I
experienced locks whenever I tried repeating the update/checkout
command again. The error messages said I should “Cleanup” first and
retry, but the lock remains.

Then I read on the SVN forum and found a fix to unlock the repository
and can start updating/checkout again, but I could only do several
MB’s at a time. So after a while it’ll just stall (download at 0
Bytes/s) without any error messages, and I have to close the window,
because even the Cancel button will not work. I can repeat the same
process several times but after that the repository will lock me
again.

If the following can help in any way, the SVN version I used was about
a year ago, and I was informed that older versions did not do
'Cleanup's properly. An upgrade to TortoiseSVN has been done and it
is at the latest release now, but the symptoms remains.

Any help will be much appreciated.

All the best,
Derek
