Just thinking something gets fixed won't help you at all. Had you
reported this "a long time ago" it might have.

Have you reported this to the ACDSee support? After all, it's ACDSee
that's crashing...

There are a lot of ways a context menu extension can be implemented.
Most of them only use the very basics, but TSVN uses some of the more
enhanced APIs and callbacks the shell provides.

Try this:
create the registry key (DWORD)
HKCU\Software\TortoiseSVN\ShowContextMenuIcons
and set the value to 0.

And please report this to the ACDSee support - it's their app that's
crashing and most likely not handling the shell extension properly.
