Feature Request: Show which properties have changed in commit / check for modifications

It would be extremely helpful to be able to see the list of properties that have changed for an item in the commit and check for modifications dialog boxes; it would also be nice to be able to filter those changes (especially mergeinfo), but I know that that feature is already being bandied about for SVN development.

My initial thought was to add multi-line information for the property status with the list of changed properties, since most scenarios would not involve modifying a large number of properties; of course, the minute one makes that assumption, someone else will object to the amount of screen real estate consumed. An alternative would be to expand the display with additional columns for each property name with a modification in the result set that would contain status information (e.g. modified, normal, added, deleted, etc.). In either case, double-clicking on a particular property name would give a diff of the relevant property (instead of performing a diff for the text and each property).

I realize that this is a non-trivial feature, so it would be nice to know if others are clamoring for similar functionality, or whether we should bite the bullet and try to add it ourselves.

Also, as far as I can see, this requires a fair amount of interaction with the WC (do we need to extend this idea to remote status?), so that might motivate the SVN devs to make property handling an easier task.

Thanks,
